Six drifting containers found

CAPE TOWN -- Six of 27 fully-laden cargo containers that washed off a Malaysian cargo ship berthed in the harbour here on Monday night have been recovered, salvors Smit Pentow Marine said yesterday.

Spokesperson Dave Murray said some of the containers had washed ashore on Milnerton beach. Tugs were trying to track down the remainder of the containers while a helicopter was scouring the area. -- Sapa
