ORT council names heads of depts

EAST LONDON -- The OR Tambo District municipality has announced the names of the departmental heads it has recently appointed.

Executive mayor Zoleka Capa said the senior managerial staff were appointed following the advertising of posts.

Legislation governing municipalities requires that senior managerial posts be advertised before an appointment is made.

Those appointed included Luvuyo Mahlaka (human resources manager), Mncedisi Zungula (development planning manager), Viwe Mpekula (finance manager), Gcinilifu Mdutshana (local government support and learnership co-ordinator) and Neliswa Ndabankulu (programmes manager: local economic development).
