Cofimvaba escapee back behind bars QUEENSTOWN -- An awaiting-trial prisoner who escaped from the Cofimvaba police cells in December last year is back in custody. Thembinkosi Ntsokota, wo is facing murder, rape and armed robbery charges, escaped from custody on December 6 after overpowering two policemen. Captain Mzoli Kopolo said yesterday Ntsokota was rearrested by members of the serious violent crimes unit, led by Captain Nkosiyabo Kili, on the road between Elliot and Engcobo last Wednesday.
