Swazis claim annexed land

MBABANE -- Prince Khuzulwandle has accused South Africa of refusing to co-operate in resolving a border dispute.

Swaziland is claiming Mpumalanga and Ingwavuma in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.

The claim, earlier pursued by King Subhuza II and now by King Mswati III, refers to former Swazi territory annexed by the British.

Mpumalanga Premier Mathews Phosa and Foreign Minister Alfred Nzo dismissed the claims, but Prince Khuzulwandle said his country would insist on return. -- Sapa
